Programs, Activities and Goals
PHASE I of the LVOH mission is to provide emergency relief by coordinating with local social workers and distributing the supplies to children and their families in need.
PHASE II is to continue emergency relief while providing educational opportunity for children.
In 2001, the LOVH provided one year's worth of basic emergency relief supplies -- such as clothing, non-perishable food items and medical supplies -- to beneift more than 500 children.
In 2002, the LVOH increased the amount of relief supplies to benefit more than 1,000 children and enrolled 50 children into the African Christian Fellowship International Orphanage Home.
In August 2004, the LVOH will begin construction on an orphanage and education center for children ages 0 to 15 years. Basic medical care, education and grief counseling will be provided in a safe and nurturing environment for children in need of a home and guidance toward becoming successful, contributing members of our world society.
